The Association
For more than a century, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indian Schools in India (AHAISI) has served as the collective voice of one of the country's most distinguished educational traditions. Established in 1925 and registered in 1926, the Association brings together the Heads of Anglo-Indian schools from across India in a shared commitment to educational leadership, institutional excellence and professional collaboration.
AHAISI has consistently worked to preserve the distinctive identity of Anglo-Indian schools while recognising their wider role in the educational life of the Nation. Although these institutions originated within the Anglo-Indian community, they have, for generations, welcomed students from every region, faith and background. Their reputation for academic rigour, disciplined administration, co-curricular excellence and value-based education has earned them the trust of countless families across India.

To be the principal forum of educational leadership among Anglo-Indian schools in India, preserving a distinguished heritage while advancing excellence in education and service to the nation.

To unite Heads of Anglo-Indian Schools across India in a common endeavour to strengthen educational standards, uphold institutional integrity and promote the welfare of member schools.

The 104th Annual General Meeting of the Association will be held from 4th January to 7th January, 2027 at Bengaluru, Karnataka. Member schools will receive the detailed programme and registration particulars in due course.
